What are theme contests?
Theme contests are a fun way to compete against your fellow peers. Each contest has a specific theme like, Christmas, New Year, etc., and for a specific theme type.
Who can participate?
As long as you are a member of NDSthemes, you can participate.
How is the winner deteremined?
At the end of the contest, the theme with the most amount of votes wins!
How can I participate?
Simply submit a theme as you normally would, but instead of selecting a normal theme category, select the theme contest you would like to participate in.
Can I submit more than one theme per contest?
No, only one theme per contest, but you can participate in as many contests as you would like.
What do I get for winning?
Each theme contest has different award XP points associated with it. You also get a unique award image on your theme page.
How many votes do I get?
You get one vote per contest.
Can I vote for my own theme?
No
How do the timelines work?
Theme contests last for 4 weeks. The first 3 weeks are for theme submissions, and the last week is for voting.

With the 2010 Winter olympics wrapped up sports are on the minds of many people around the world. While here in the U.S. "March Madness" typically refers to a series of basketball games this month's theme contest can encompass all the world's sports.
Design a theme featuring your favorite sport. It can be a team-based theme, the sport itself, mascots, even something from the Olympics.
